The Department of Psychology at Union College offers master of arts degrees in General, Clinical, Counseling and School Psychology.
All M.A. programs in psychology provide a solid academic groundwork in the discipline. The clinical, counseling, and school programs are designed to develop effective master’s-level practitioners and involve training in the delivery of psychological services. The General program is designed to prepare the student for further graduate study, teaching at the college level, or for personal enrichment.

We seek promising students from all backgrounds who will enhance our program and, later, the field of professional psychology. When applying, it is important to remember that high test scores and grades do not always guarantee acceptance, just as there may be students whose lower scores may be offset by other exceptional qualifications.
For program admission information, see the Graduate Program website.
