Current Faculty Positions Available:


Clinical Psychology
Psychology- Assistant Professor— A tenure track position opening beginning Fall, 2008. Candidates must possess a Psy. D. or Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology and preferably be licensed or licensable in the state of Kentucky. Responsibilities will include: graduate & undergraduate teaching, with emphasis on clinical assessment courses, supervision of field placements; advising and service to the college. Evidence of excellence in teaching is strongly preferred.

Education
Assistant professor of Education - tenure-track position beginning Fall, 2008. Candidates must possess either a Ph. D or Ed. D in curriculum and instruction from an accredited university, preferably with an emphasis in one other area: educational leadership; special education; elementary, middle, or secondary education; math; reading/language arts; or science. Candidates must hold teacher certification and have at least three years of successful public school experience, ideally within the last five years. Responsibilities will include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in curriculum and instruction, distance-learning courses, supervision of field experience placements, service to public schools in the area, advising students, and service to the college. Other duties may be assigned. Preferred qualifications also include evidence of research related to curriculum and instruction, membership and involvement in one or more professional organizations, and experience in the use of technology in the classroom, experience in higher education teaching, research and grant writing experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and delivery of online courses. This is a nine-month, tenure-track appointment with possibilities of summer employment. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Human Performance/Wellness
Assistant/Associate Professor of Human Performance/Wellness - Tenure-tract appointment to begin August 2008. We seek a broadly trained individual with a commitment to undergraduate education in a small-college environment. Duties include teaching courses in the Human Performance/Wellness Department. Faculty are also responsible for student advisement, building a pattern of scholarship and professional activities, and service to the college and community. Applicant must have a Doctorate completed or near completion at the time of the appointment. ABDs considered. Teaching experience preferred.
