What do I need to do during my senior year in high school?
- Mail in the completed application, or apply online at www.unionky.edu/apply/
- The $10 application fee can be paid by credit card in the Business
Office (800) 489-8646, ext. 1202) or by check. Mail to the Admission
office with your name and "application fee" on the memo
line.
- Contact your high school guidance counselor and request current official transcript, including your cumulative GPA, class rank, and ACT of SAT1 scores, be mailed to the Admission Office.
- Make sure the following pre-college high school courses are completed upon graduation:
English ___I ___II ___III ___IV
Algebra ___I ___II
Geometry ___
History ___US ___World
Science ___Biology ___Chemistry
- Take the ACT or SAT1 test(s) as soon as possible and as often as possible before entering college. Cumulative GPA plus your highest composite ACT or SAT1 test score are critical in determining admission to Union and eligibility for academic scholarships.
- Contact the Admission Office to schedule a campus visit at (800) 489-8646.
- Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Mail it to the Admission Office after January 1. Contact the Financial Aid Office with questions at (800) 489-8646, ext. 1223.
- Upon admission, pay the non-refundable $100 enrollment deposit. Send it to the Admission Office.
- A financial aid award letter will be mailed to you. Carefully read the award letter, sign in, and mail it back to the Admission Office as soon as possible.
- A registration packet will be mailed to you during the summer. Fill our the enclosed registration form and return it to the Admission Office.
- A housing packet will be mailed to you after the registration packet. Fill out the housing forms and return them to the Student Life Office.
- After graduation, have your updated, final, official transcript, including cumulative GPA, class rank and ACT or SAT1 score(s), sent to the Admission Office to complete the application process.
- Attend summer registration on the pre-registered date.
- Join the Union College family for Welcome Weekend!
