January 1
To maximize eligibility for Federal Student Aid, the FAFSA should be submitted as soon as possible after January 1. If the student is accepted for admission to Union College, the completed FAFSA may be submitted to Union’s Financial Aid Office, where a counselor will file the FAFSA electronically for you. The FAFSA is processed much faster when it is filed electronically by our office.

Tip: When listing colleges of interest on the FAFSA, list Union College (FAFSA code 001988) first if you are deciding between a private or state college. If you qualify for state aid, this will ensure you receive the maximum amount available.

March 15
Filing the FAFSA before March 15 ensures the student will receive priority for Federal Student Aid.

Note: Filing before March 15 also ensures Kentucky residents will receive priority for the KHEAA state grant.

May 1
Students who apply and are accepted for admission to Union College by May 1 will receive maximum eligibility and priority for all grants and scholarships given by the College.
