Welcome to Alumni Connection!

Welcome to the first edition of the Union Alumni Connection e-newsletter. The newsletter will be published every other month. We are excited about adding this to the mix of our communications with alumni.

The alumni relations staff has been busy collecting current e-mail addresses so the newsletter can reach more of you. If you know alumni who would like to receive the newsletter, send us their e-mail addresses or, better yet, forward the newsletter to them and they can use it to submit an address on their own.

Please feel free to respond with feedback about the new newsletter and what kind of items you would like to see included in future editions. We want this to be a tool you find useful, informative, and maybe even entertaining!

Soldiers and Sailors

Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Gymnasium Restoration
Comes Full Circle

Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Gymnasium holds lasting memories for many alumni, as well as for community members who poured their funds and hearts into its initial construction. Construction of the building in 1919 was a grassroots effort by the college and community. As it was built just after World War I, it seemed fitting for the building to honor and memorialize the soldiers who served.
