There are two different processes for requesting materials for InterLibrary Loan, depending on the type. See below for the option that applies to the material you are seeking:

To request Books, Media, Audio Recordings, Maps, Musical Scores, or other formats:

This database contains all the records cataloged by OCLC member libraries. It offers millions of bibliographic records and includes records representing 400 languages. An Interlibrary Loan (ILL) form is attached to each title record.

You will need an authorization code and password to access this catalog. To obtain this information, please contact the library by phone at (606) 546-1240 or by email at library@unionky.edu.

Students, faculty, and staff may also log in to My Union and access the authorization code and password in the Library folder under the Students or Academic tab.

To request Journal Articles:

Through the library OPAC, you may request journal articles. Please note that this is used for journal articles only.

You will need a current library account in order to access this system as your name and 14-digit barcode number are required to make a request. If you don’t have a library card or your card has expired, please contact the library by phone at (606) 546-1240 or by email at library@unionky.edu.
