Union College Holds 2004 Willson-Gross Lecture
Series
Union College is pleased to announce the 2004
Willson-Gross Lectures on November 8 - 9, 2004. Every year, the
Willson-Gross Lectures bring distinguished speakers to Union College's
campus. The lectures are designed to introduce vital issues confronting
the modern church and society to the audience.
This year, Dr. William J. "Beau" Weston, Associate Professor
of Sociology at Centre College and elder in the Presbyterian Church
(USA), will serve as moderator for a Christian Clergy Panel on "The
Relation of the Christian to the State/Government" and then
as lecturer the following morning on the topic of "The New
Christendom and the Clash of Civilizations."
