Union Students Organize a Tsunami Relief Fundraising
Event Around Traditional Thai and Indian Culture
Union College's Spiritual Life Team is sponsoring
a student-initiated tsunami relief fundraiser. A group of Union
students are preparing and dishing up traditional Thai and Indian
food to raise money for tsunami relief. Students have chosen to
prepare Thai and Indian dishes in honor of those people most affected
by the tsunami devastation.
Those wishing to participate can donate $1 per
plate or $5 for all-you-can eat. Funds raised will be donated to
the International Association for Human Values where 100% of the
money raised will be used for tsunami relief.
Everyone is invited to attend this event
scheduled for Tuesday, March 15, 2005 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
at the Sharp Academic Center on Union's campus. For more information
regarding this event or to make a donation, please contact the spiritual
life office at 546-1291 or August Mangeney at 546-1394.
