Participants Wanted for Union College Children’s Programs

Union College’s children’s programs are currently seeking participants from the Knox County community.

Children grades K-8 are eligible to participate in the Bulldog Buddies Program, a mentoring program that pairs local children with college students and focuses on health and wellness. Participants come to Union College once a month to learn various athletic activities and how to grow to be health conscious. To participate, call Rohit Kooner at 546-1361.

The Timeless Tales Reading Center seeks children in grades K-8 who are in need of assistance with reading. The reading center is located on the Union College campus where college students work individually with children to increase literacy skills. The center operates Monday-Thursday, 3:30-5:30pm. To participate, call Renee Hobbs at 546-1337.

The Children’s Art Program seeks children in grades K-6 who are interested in arts and crafts. The art program seeks to offer a range of art experiences to local children. The Art Program operates Monday-Thursday, 5:00-7:00pm. To participate, contact Elise Ratterman at 546-1361.

All three programs are offered by the Union College Common Partners Program.
