Public Invited to Explore “Religion and the Public Arena”
Union College will host a forum on “Religion and the Public Arena” on Monday, February 19 at 7:00 pm in the Black Technology Center on campus. The event is sponsored by Union’s Spiritual Life Center and is open to the public.
The forum will explore a range of issues concerning the relationship between religion and public life. Panelists include representatives from The Interfaith Alliance of the Bluegrass, Operation Unite, Restorative Justice Ministries of the Kentucky Conference of The United Methodist Church, and Union College’s departments of Religious Studies and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The forum will include an opportunity for audience members to pose questions to the panelists.
