Children’s Art, Tutoring, Mentoring Resume at Union
The Timeless Tales tutoring program, Children’s Art Program, and the Bulldog Buddies mentoring program all resume at Union College in January.
Timeless Tales offers assistance to local children who need help with reading, math, or other homework. All tutoring is provided by trained student volunteers. The program is held in the Timeless Tales Reading Center, in Union’s library, Monday through Thursday from 3:30-5:30 pm. The program will open for the spring semester on January 22.
The Children’s Art Program gives children the opportunity to experiment with a variety of art forms and mediums, with guidance from trained student volunteers. Children attend age-specific sessions held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. The program is located upstairs in the Center for Spirituality and Service. Its first session was January 14.
Bulldog Buddies is a mentoring program that connects children with Union College athletes and volunteers to promote health and wellness through sports and other activities. The program will hold its first session on January 27 from 2:30-4:00 pm. Meet in the Center for Spirituality and Service.
