Announcing MyUnion
Union’s Web content is getting personal.
Union launched my.unionky.edu last week. The new site offers personalized content for various audiences.
The site is being developed and released incrementally. For now, most of the available content is related to academics. Students can use the site to see who their advisors are, review class schedules, print unofficial transcripts, see grade reports for a particular term, and search for courses.
Faculty can pull class lists, enter grades online, access standard forms, review curriculum plans, see lists of advisees, and schedule advising appointments.
The next sections to be developed include those for alumni and friends, a Union Life portal that outlines student groups and activities, and more useful sections for faculty and staff.
More will be added to MyUnion as implementation continues over the next several months. A partial list of the information and functionality that will be made possible by MyUnion is listed below.
MyUnion replaces Campus Web, which will remain available for a limited time as the campus transitions to MyUnion.
Administrative Systems staff, who have led the transition to MyUnion, look forward to hearing feedback about the new site. Comments and suggestions can be entered in the feedback box on MyUnion’s home page, or emailed to jicsfeedback@unionky.edu.
If you have questions about MyUnion or need assistance, contact Barry Hickey, extension 1273, or Christina Hendrickson at extension 1270.
