Guitar virtuoso to perform at Union on October 6th
Terry Pazmiño, a classical guitarist and composer from Quito, Ecuador, is coming to Union College on Monday, October 6th to share his riveting music and masterful playing with the community.
Pazmiño’s October 6th performance will take place at 7:30 pm in Conway Boatman Chapel.
The highly regarded guitarist has performed in over 40 countries. Pazmiño’s music reflects the urban popular and folk music of Latin America as well as European classical traditions.
In addition to the recitals and concerts he performs around the world, Pazmiño also researches, writes and lectures on the popular and classical music traditions of Latin America. He has studied with three guitar masters and is considered a master guitarist in his own right.
Pazmiño’s concert will feature his unique repertoire based on the urban popular music of Latin America.
The event is free and open to the public.
