Union College Singers & Union Harmony to Perform April 21
The Union College Singers and Union Harmony will present their annual spring concert Tuesday, April 21 at 8:00 p.m. in Conway Boatman Chapel. The performance is free and open to the public.
The concert will feature a varied program that includes spirituals, traditional and contemporary anthems, a setting of the traditional Gaelic blessing “May the Road Rise Up to Meet You,” and an arrangement of the traditional Shaker tune “The Gift to Be Simple.”
Gay Gandy, associate professor of music at Union, will conduct. Kathy Smith will serve as accompanist.
This is the first of two upcoming concerts for Union’s music program. On Sunday, May 3, Union’s Regional Chorus will stage its annual spring performance.
