Union College Scholarship Helps KCHS Students Participate in State Competition

The Union College chapter of Phi Delta Kappa (PDK) International recently awarded a $500 dollar scholarship to Knox Central High School’s Future Educators of America (FEA) chapter. The scholarship allowed Knox Central’s FEA members to attend the FEA state competition in Louisville on Nov. 12-13.
 
PDK is sponsored by the Educational Studies Unit at Union College as a means to promote collaboration with area P-12 educators and schools. Union’s PDK chapter is in its 37th year of service.

PDK International is a professional association for educators. For more than 100 years, it has focused its work on the tenets of service, research and leadership. The Future Educators Association, sponsored by PDK International, is a professional organization that provides students interested in education-related careers with activities and materials that help them explore the teaching profession.
