The Union College men's soccer team is ranked 16th in this week's NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, marking the first time since August 20, 2002 the Bulldogs have been voted in the top 25. The Bulldogs were receiving votes in last week's poll.
For the second time in four days a Union College team has knocked off a ranked opponent, this time it was the men's soccer team as they defeated No. 4 Martin Methodist (Tenn.) 1-0 in a non-conference matchup.
The Union College football team christened the lights at Williamson Stadium at Burch/Nau Field with a 28-27 upset victory over No. 11 University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) on Saturday in Mid-South Conference East play.

Union College will officially release the book “Facing Addiction in Knox County: It’s Our Move,” in partnership with The Facing Project, at a book launch and reception on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 4 p.m. in the Sharp Academic Center.
