Service Learning

How big is service at Union?  Union College students, faculty and staff contribute a yearly average of 15,000 hours to community service. It's pretty much a given that you, too, will be involved in volunteering your time. You’ll have opportunities to work with all age groups in a wide variety of settings and situations. You’ll learn more about who you are, what’s important to you and what you’re capable of achieving.

Here’s how it works: the Common Partners program—the central community service organization—matches students with volunteer and learning opportunities, and matches the local community with quality student volunteers to fill its needs. Common Partners is an intern program with an application/acceptance process. But you don’t have to be an intern to volunteer your time. There are plenty of opportunities for everyone. Visit Common Partners to learn more.
