ENGL 561: WORLD CULTURES IN LITERATURE

Exploring a world culture through the stories it tells about itself and its relationships with other cultures, including fiction, drama, poetry, film, popular music, and the oral tradtion. Cultures may include: Asia; Africa; the Middle East; Latin America; the Classical World; and national literatures underrepresented in the Undergraduate Core. This course may be taken more than once providing that the course content is different. The class schedule will designate the specific content covered. Offered in Fall of even years only.
