HIST 452: TOPICS IN MODERN EUROPEAN HISTORY

(S) A study of the political, cultural, and social history of Europe from the Congress of Vienna to the contemporary era of European integration. Special focus is given to the process of modernization, the world wars, and the course of European history since 1945. Prerequisites: a previous 200-level course in history or permission of the instructor.

Prerequisites: HIST211, or HIST212, or HIST213
