Keeneland Clubhouse Fundraising Event
Union College alumni and friends gathered Sunday for the 2016 Keeneland Clubhouse Fundraising Event. The annual Union College event took place during Keeneland’s 2016 Spring Meet as part of the college’s advancement plan to develop alumni relationships and support investment in Union’s programs and students.
John Moffett ‘72, Union alumni and Board of Trustee member, and his wife Carol ’73, hosted the 2016 Keeneland event.
“Everyone here is part of the change taking place at Union College,” Mr. Moffett said. “It is our job to provide Union students with the resources they need to inspire the next generation.”
Around 40 alumni and friends of the college joined in the Keeneland Clubhouse for the day’s racing activities, including Ken Ramsey ‘53. Ramsey, along with his wife Sarah K. ‘62, own the Nicholasville-based Ramsey farm, which regularly features horses during the stakes races at Keeneland.
