The Mackies

Since 1986, the Union Commonwealth University Department of Athletics has honored individuals for their outstanding athletic achievements and contributions to the university and its athletic programs through the Athletic Hall of Fame. In 2008, the Hall of Fame was expanded to include Teams of Distinction, recognizing teams that have reached exceptional milestones.

In 2017, the celebration was rebranded as The Mackies, a prestigious event held each spring to honor the accomplishments of both individuals and teams.
