Union College adds archery as an intercollegiate sport, and Cody Kirby is the program's first head coach.
The Union College Department of Athletics will grow their sport offerings in 2015-16, as Men’s and Women’s Archery will be added to the school’s slate of intercollegiate athletics, Director of Athletics Tim Curry announced on Thursday. With the addition of the men’s and women’s archery programs, Union will now offer 25 intercollegiate athletic programs.

Union College President Marcia Hawkins will participate in a special White House event today.

Today, Union College and President Marcia Hawkins, Ph.d., will join President Obama, the First Lady, and Vice President Biden along with hundreds of college presidents and other higher education leaders to announce new actions to help more students prepare for and graduate from college.

The City of Barbourville is one of eight Appalachian communities among 26 to receive technical support to integrate local food systems into community economic development action plans, announced Wednesday by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and Delta Regional Authority (DRA).

Union College announces its Baseball Enhancement Project

With an eye for the betterment of both the program and student-athletes, the Union College baseball program has announced an extensive enhancement project that will take the Bulldog program to the next level both in the Appalachian Athletic Conference and in the NAIA.
