The Union College Student Ambassadors (UCSA) volunteer their time throughout the summer and academic year to help make Union a better place for current and future students. Each fall brings new members, who participate in UCSA Rush Week to show they've got what it takes to be an ambassador.

Psych Bowl
"Psych Bowl” is a competition hosted by the Kentucky Psychological Association for undergraduate psychology majors throughout the state. Union has competed in this event for more than 10 years.

Psi–Chi
“Psi-Chi” is a national honor society for psychology students based on excellency of academic endeavors. Members are expected to discuss topics of current interest, network, study and promote psychology.

Gay-Straight Alliance
Gay-Straight Alliance was created to support understanding and spread knowledge of the gay, straight and transgendered communites. Their mission is to fight homophobia and transphobia through education as an alliance of people from all sexual orientations; gay, straight, lesbian and transgendered coming together.

Yearbook
Student staff members of the Stespean, Union's yearbook, creates the entire publication using InDesign, Photoshop and other creative ware. Members can earn one credit hour per semester.

This club was created to bring our international and domestic students together to learn from one another. It serves as a support group for international students and aims to increase cultural awareness.

UCXFit
UCXFIT is a student group that participates in weekday workouts that vary with different types of lifting and running events. Feel free to join in morning at 6:00 am.

Union College Social Players Guild
The group meets weekly on Wednesdays to particpate in games varying from Xbox360, Playstation3 and Nintendo Wii, as well as Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, and various board games.

Social Work Club
This club's purpose is to educate the community about social work, provide community service and learning opportunities for students. Membership is open to all students, including non-social work majors.

The Sociology Club
This club serves a number of different functions: to help students explore the world from a sociological perspective; to encourage sociology majors to celebrate their successes; to help sponsor guest speakers and forums which are sociological in nature, as well as the annual Minorities Day event. This club promotes student interest in the sciences through recreational activities, lecture-discussions, lab exercises, field trips and academic guidance. It is open to all students and promotes awareness of career opportunities and further studies in the area of STEM, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, dentistry, optometry, ophthalmology, medicine and allied disciplines.

The Council for Exceptional Children
The goal of this organization's student division is to help them develop educational instruction skills, awareness of legal and ethical practices, to provide a forum for sharing experiences and opportunities for professional development. CEC members work within the schools and community to provide aid and assistance whenever possible.

The Newman Club
This club New is an organization where Union catholic students can engage their energy and enthusiasm in faith and fellowship in collaboration with the pastor and parishioners of St Gregory’s Catholic Church, Barbourville. Members meet often for Eucharistic communion, and other events like retreats, faith formation, mission field trips, music & worship, community service, intramural sports, guest speakers and Bible studies. The Newman Club thus provides opportunity for faith development and Christian leadership and forms global citizens and future leaders in the church; bridging faith and intellectual traditions with society.
