Sharp Scholarship

Amount: Up to full tuition

Requirements: Minimum 3.50 GPA & 32 ACT

 

Trustee Scholarship
 

Amount: Up to $19,160

Requirements:  Minimum 3.50 GPA & 29 ACT   

 

President Scholarship
 

Amount: Up to $16,070 

Requirements:  Minimum 3.50 GPA & 26 ACT


 

Deans Scholarship
 

Amount: Up to $15,040

Requirements:  Minimum 3.00 GPA & 24 ACT

 

Union Award

Amount: Up to $12,980

Requirements: Minimum 2.75 GPA & 20 ACT 

 

Bulldog Award

Amount: $12,675

Governor's Scholar Program

Amount: Up to Full Tuition 

Requirements:  Graduate of Governors Scholar Program with a 3.0 GPA & 24 ACT (or equivalent) Score. Up to Half Tuition scholarship for Governors Scholar Program Graduates below a 3.0 GPA & 24 ACT.  
*Scholarships are also available for Governor's School for Entrepreneur & Governor's School for the Arts 

 

Rogers Scholar Program
Amount: Up to Full Tuition 


Requirements:  Graduate of Rogers Scholar Program with a 3.0 GPA & 24 ACT (or equivalent) Score. 

 

Transfer Scholarship

Amount: Up to $19,160

Requirements: Based on GPA of at least 24 transferable hours. 
                      Minimum 3.75 GPA, Up to $19,160
                      Minimum 3.25 GPA, Up to $16,070
                      Minimum 2.75 GPA, Up to $15,040
                      Minimum 2.5 GPA, Up to $12,675 

 

Post Baccalaureate Scholarship

Requirements: Based on GPA of Undergraduate Studies

Athletic Scholarship

Amount: Varies

Requirements:  Award determined by coaching staff. Not stackable with other academic scholarships.

Common
Partners
Scholarship
Amount: Up to $2,000


Requirements: Completion of the Common Partners Scholarship Application. This scholarship is awarded to students who are committed to service while mastering their academic requirements. To retain scholarships from year to year in the program, students must provide about four to five hours of weekly community service; participate in weekly or bi-weekly meetings and leadership workshops; and participate in a number of college-supported functions such as Daniel Boone Festival, the Redbud Festival of Appalachian Culture, and other special events.

 

Methodist
Grant
 

Amount: $1,000

Requirements:  Students should be members of the Methodist Church and complete application to the program. 
 

Vocal Music Scholarship

 

Requirements: The award is based on musicality, and audition with Dr. Virginia Gay Gandy, Associate Professor of Music. 
Theater
Scholarship

Requirements: The award is based on ability, and audition with Ms. Christie Connolly, Assistant Professor of Theatre. 

Band 
Scholarships
Requirements: Award is based on musical ability and an audition with Mr. David McCullough, Band Director.
Union Legacy (Alumni) 
Scholarship
Amount:$1,000 discounted from the cost of tuition


Requirements: Dependent children of Union College graduates who received a bachelor’s degree. 

Union Sibling 
Scholarship

Award: $1,000 per sibling discounted from the cost of tuition. 

Requirements: Two or more siblings must be enrolled as full time undergraduate students.  Siblings must be dependent and reside in the same household.
