The health and safety of our campus and community is always a priority for Union, which is why we are announcing the following:

  • Classes will be offered online only beginning Monday, March 23rd until the rest of the semester. (Spring II classes will still begin March 16th.)
      • We understand that some students may not be able to return home OR may need our campus resources to complete online instruction. So, residence halls will open back up to on-campus students on Sunday, March 15th for those who wish to stay in their dorm while they complete instruction online. You must complete a check-in form with Residence Life BEFORE you come back
      • Students who live in residence halls can also choose to stay at home while they do work online.
      • Commuters do not need to report to campus and need to complete work online, from home.
  • ALL on campus events cancelled beginning March 23rd until further notice. This includes campus visits through admissions as well, however, virtual campus visits are an option for prospective students, please visit for info.
  • Enterprise is waiving the underage fee for college students and are allowing 18-21 year olds to rent with a valid student ID if they need help getting home due to COVID-19 closures, please visit:
  • UPDATE: In an effort to reduce face-to-face contact, Union College has closed the doors to Sharp Academic Center, Speed Hall and Black Technology Center.
      • The offices inside these buildings are still in operation; students, staff and guests are encouraged to reach out via telephone or electronically.
      • Please refer to the Union College Directory for contact information.
  • Commencement UPDATE
    • We continue to monitor the COVID-19 crisis and closely comply with the CDC, local, state, and national government regulations. In order to do that, we recognize that we have to revise our May commencement.
    • Union College Senior Staff is working on developing an alternative virtual ceremony for our graduates on the regularly scheduled date, May 9, 2020.
    • The inclusion of a virtual ceremony is the beginning, and not the end, of the celebration for the Class of 2020. Members of the class of 2020 will be invited back to walk and participate in a future ceremony.
    • More details will be announced in the coming weeks as they are finalized.

Please continue to monitor your email for updates.
