Department of Natural Sciences

The Liberal Education core at Union offers a variety of courses in science, literature, arts and humanities. With the knowledge students gain from these classes, they have a storehouse of information that will help effectively exchange ideas, thoughts and feelings with others.

However for some students, they want to move beyond that basic core. For those students, the Natural Science Department is the place for them. Natural Science students may major in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics or one of the many pre-professional programs. Whatever the choice, the study will be within the context of a strong liberal arts education.
