Graduate Studies in Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Union College offers Masters degrees in General Psychology (MA-fully online), Clinical Psychology (MA-hybrid), Substance Abuse Counseling (MS-fully online), and Chemical Dependency Counselor Certificate (CDCC-fully online).

All graduate psychology programs provide a solid academic groundwork in the discipline. The clinical, and counseling programs are designed to develop effective master’s-level practitioners and involve training in the delivery of psychological services.

The Master of Arts in General Psychology program, which was recently ranked #2 for affordability, is designed to prepare the student for further graduate study, teaching at the college level or for personal enrichment.

The fully-online Chemical Dependency Counselor Certification (CDCC) program prepares students to meet real world challenges associated with assisting those suffering from addiction.
