Union, community partners complete Monarch waystations

Union College and several partners from throughout the local community have completed a project to improve butterfly habitats on the college campus. Students from Union College, Barbourville Independent Schools and the Bell County Technology Center installed plants and garden benches for Monarch butterfly habitats at two locations – Union’s Center for Civic Engagement and the Turner Outdoor Center. The project was student led, but funded through a grant from Kentucky PRIDE.

Lydia Nash recognized for academic achievements during Honor's Day

Union College recognized nearly 40 students for outstanding academic achievement at its annual Honors Day Convocation ceremony held in the Conway Boatman Chapel on the college’s Kentucky campus.

Union to honor graduates during events May 6 & 7

Union College will honor the 2016 graduating class during two ceremonies scheduled for the first weekend in May. Union will host a Baccalaureate service on May 6 and a Commencement ceremony on May 7. Dr. Thomas C. Clark, a native of Knox County, will serve as the 123rd Commencement speaker.

Union College music program presents Handel’s “Messiah”

“The trumpet shall sound” as the Union College music program presents Handel’s “Messiah” for its spring concert. The concert will take place on Tuesday, April 19 in the Conway Boatman Chapel.

Union hosting Keeneland fundraising event

The Union College Office of Advancement is inviting alumni and community members to join them for a fundraising event during Keeneland’s Spring Meet. The event will be held at the Keeneland Clubhouse on Sunday, April 17.
