 StraighterLine and Union College announce partnership to provide affordable and flexible degree completion options for college students

Walmart contributes to Union technology project

Walmart has contributed $1,000 to Union College for technology upgrades that will benefit Union’s first-generation students. The donation was made through the Community Grant Program of the Barbourville Walmart and approved by Store Manager Sam Scharbrough.

Union awarded two scholarship grants totaling $11,000

Mike McPherson, Vice President for Advancement, has announced Union College has been awarded two foundation grants providing a total of $11,000 in scholarship support. McPherson says Union has been awarded $1,000 from the Bohn Foundation and $10,000 from the Chatlos Foundation.
