On March 24, high school junior and senior students from throughout the region are invited to become part of the pack during Union College’s Bulldog Preview Day. This event is open to all interested high school students and offers a first-hand glimpse at life as a Bulldog on the Union College campus.

“Our campus is always open and inviting to prospective students,” said Meghann Gaunt Chesnut, Director of Undergraduate Recruitment. “Bulldog Preview Day adds extra value for prospective students in giving them a deeper look at life on campus and the opportunity to expand their scholarship offerings with our Preview Day award.”

Chesnut said all students attending Bulldog Preview Day will be entered into a drawing to win a $1,000 scholarship award. The award will be available only to students who attend the entire event. The scholarship will be added to the student’s award package once they enroll at Union.

“This is a great opportunity to have extra money in hand when the day comes to fully become a Union College Bulldog,” said Craig Grooms, Vice-President of Enrollment Management. “Union works hard to provide competitive scholarship packages to our students and this award only strengthens our offerings.”

The 2018 Bulldog Preview Day will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 24 in the Sharp Academic Center. Prospective students will have the chance to meet each other, hang out with Union College Student Ambassadors and engage in a variety of activities that make our prospective students Bulldogs-To-Be. Activities include a welcome session, a campus tour, scholarship and financial aid information and lunch. The day will end at the Col. Harland Sanders Field to watch the Bulldogs take the diamond against Montreat.
