Gamma Rays light up Union College Theatre

Union College Theatre will soon perform the Pulitzer Prize winning play, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds, by Paul Zindel. The talented cast includes Emma Long, Vitoria Oliveira, Jane Beavon, and Isabella Rogers. Mayla McKeehan, Union College Instructor of Theatre, directs and well as acts in the production.

The stage crew, Ira Wagers, Desmond Leak, Stefano De Mello, and Mayla McKeehan, have created scenery, sound, and lights that sets the scene of the play, the dilapidated Hunsdorfer home during the mid-1960’s. Raul Novaresi will run lights and Bruce Cory will perform the duties of house manager. 

Performances will take place November 1, 2, and 3 at 8:00 pm, and November 4 at 2:00 pm at the Rector Little Theatre on the Union College campus. This production includes adult material, children under the age of 13 will not be permitted in the theatre during performances.
