Dr. Achenjang received formal and bilingual instruction from schools in Cameroon, Africa; University College, London, UK (M.Sc.) and the University of Wyoming, USA (Ph.D.).
He enjoys scientific networking, especially involving novel human tissue invasion and the epidemiology of gastro-intestinal infections (myiasis) by rat-tailed maggots; heavy metal concentrations in African beverages and agricultural products; and local herbal remedies from Bangwa, Cameroon, used for the treatment of human bone fractures, anemia, fly larvae infestations and gingival/oral myiasis.
He enjoys family; is an empathic, peace loving social/community activist and humorist; supports many humanitarian causes, encourages stewardship, investing in Human Dignity and seed giving back circles.
He is a member of the American Chemical Society, ACS; Cameroon Biosciences Society, CBS, and The Society of Cameroon Biochemists, SOCAB; Nkemnji-Achenjang Foundation, NAF; member of the Association for Non-Violence, ASFON, Yaounde; and an honorary President of the Center for Support to Sustainable Development Initiatives, a non-governmental organization.
