Psychology Club is an organization established by Union Commonwealth University's Psychology Department. The purpose of the club is to capture the interest of Union students in the field of psychology.

SCIENCE CLUB
This club promotes student interest in the sciences through recreational activities, lecture-discussions, lab exercises, field trips and academic guidance. It is open to all students and promotes awareness of career opportunities and further studies in the area of STEM, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, dentistry, optometry, ophthalmology, medicine and allied disciplines.

This club offers outdoor adventures including hiking and backpacking, caving, climbing and rappelling, canoeing, kayaking and more.

BLACK STUDENT UNION (BSU)
The Black Student Union (BSU) is a dynamic and inclusive student organization on campus that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for black students. As a united community, the BSU strives to represent the interests and address the concerns of black students, fostering an environment of support, cultural celebration, and empowerment. The group recognizes the unique challenges faced by black students on campus and works to create positive change by bringing together all aspects of their lives.

BOOK CLUB
The Union Commonwealth University Book Club meets weekly to discuss books that are voted on by the members. The club meets in the library where we are able to have access to any materials or resources that we need. We would love to have you!

The Union Commonwealth University Esports Club stands as a beacon of competitive gaming within our institution. With a focus on esports, we engage in a variety of popular titles including Valorant, Rocket League, Smash Bros, League of Legends, Overwatch, and Rainbow Six Siege. As participants in NECC tournaments, our club members demonstrate their skill and dedication in the realm of competitive gaming, fostering a community committed to the advancement of esports within our university.

Including U was created to support understanding and spread knowledge of the gay, straight and transgendered communities. Their mission is to fight homophobia and transphobia through education as an alliance of people from all sexual orientations; gay, straight, lesbian and transgendered coming together.

THE NEWMAN CLUBList Item 2
The Newman Club is an organization where Union catholic students can engage their energy and enthusiasm in faith and fellowship in collaboration with the pastor and parishioners of St Gregory’s Catholic Church, Barbourville. Members meet often for Eucharistic communion, and other events like retreats, faith formation, mission field trips, music & worship, community service, intramural sports, guest speakers and Bible studies. The Newman Club thus provides opportunity for faith development and Christian leadership and forms global citizens and future leaders in the church; bridging faith and intellectual traditions with society.

SPIRITUAL LIFE TEAMList Item 3
Spiritual Life is the official campus ministry of the college. It is guided by the Way of Love that Jesus taught, practiced, and lived. We emphasize radically accepting others, discovering who God made us to become, growing into spiritual maturity, and becoming spiritual leaders both on and off campus. Spiritual Life has several activities during the week, including Eat Pray Fun (a fellowship evening), Book Club, Rev’s Ugly Mug (a gathering at a local coffee shop for free coffee and conversation about current events from a faith perspective), and weekly chapel services. In addition, Spiritual Life takes service trips, hosts concerts, and lots of other fun activities throughout the year.

BAPTIST CAMPUS MISSIONS
The Baptist Campus Missions (BCM) Club is a student ran club for not just Baptist students, but an opportunity for any and all students on Union College's campus to connect with fellow like-minded individuals. The club's "mission" can be stated through their mission verse: "And then he told them, 'Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.'" (Mark 16:15 NLT). The overall objective of the club is to welcome everyone that attends meetings and to spread the love of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The club meets at different times depending on what the semester holds, but you can be sure that you will see the Baptist Campus Mission club all around The Union College Campus.

THE FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA)
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a community working to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. We desire to see every coach and athlete enter into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. We seek to have followers of Jesus Christ through our strategy of engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same.

This club was created to bring our international and domestic students together to learn from one another. It serves as a support group for international students and aims to increase cultural awareness.

The KEA/NEA-SP acquaints prospective educators with the history, ethics and programs of the organized teaching profession; provides practical experience by working together in democratic and collaborative ways on the problems and issues of the profession.

The Union College Student Ambassadors (UCSA) volunteer their time throughout the summer and academic year to help make Union a better place for current and future students. The group assists the Admissions Office in introducing new students and guests to campus life and facilities.

The SGA comprises of a group of elected student leaders that form a parallel structure to the current administration of the college and serves as the representative voice for all current students.

ULead 360's mission is to develop emerging leaders who are committed to intellectual growth, spiritual exploration, vocational exploration, social justice, and global citizenship, utilizing a relational leadership model and the college's touchstones of Appalachia, liberal arts, service, and Methodism.

COMMON PARTNERSList Item 1
This community outreach organization has been part of Union’s mission in the community since 1999. Students engaged in service through Common Partners are asked to serve the community weekly and can earn scholarships for their commitment. Our students, faculty and staff regularly contribute more than 15,000 volunteer hours annually through our service programs. Common Partners is one part of Union’s civic engagement component that strengthens our communities while allowing our students to find the spark to get involved and inspire others.
