The Educational Studies Unit offers five masters degrees, and six Rank I (MA +30) degrees. The Educational Studies Unit also offers an Alternative Teaching Certification program that is designed for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree and who wish to earn a teaching certificate. All degrees are approved by the Kentucky’s Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB). Union is now a nationally accredited education institution. 

The Department of Psychology offers the Master of Arts degree program in Psychology with specialization area in Clinical Psychology. Additionally, the Department of Psychology at Union College offers master's degrees in General Psychology and Substance Abuse Counseling that can be completed 100% online, as well as a fully online Chemical Dependency Counselor Certificate Program.

The Division of Online and Graduate Studies has many programs that are 100% online and designed for your life.  

You can earn the following degrees from your computer:

  • Master of Science in Healthcare Administration
  • Master of Science in Information Systems Management
  • Master of Digital Marketing & Communications Management 
  • Master of Science in Managerial Accounting 

***For International Graduate Students studying on an F1 Visa, Union College now offers a Low-Residency version for most of these programs.

Admission to Graduate Studies

Please see specific program requirements per program. Most graduate programs at Union College require;

  • An Application to the program of interest
  • Official Transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate coursework
  • Minimum GPA requirements (vary by program) 

Additional requirements may be required for specific programs. i.e. Letters of Recommendation, resume, and/or Statement of Goals and Objectives.
