Loans

All students receiving student loans will need to complete an Entrance Counseling and sign a Master Promissory Note. These are both valid for ten years after competition. To complete these forms, you would need to log into www.studentaid.gov using your FSA ID.


The entrance counseling will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete, please complete the entire session to receive credit. 


The master promissory note takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. To complete the MPN you will need:

1. Personal Information

  • Permanent Address
  • Mailing Address (if different from permanent)
  • Telephone Number
  • Email Address

2. Employer Information

  • Employer Name
  • Employer Address

3. School Name

4. Reference Information

Two people you have known for at least three years. The first reference should be a parent or legal guardian.

  • Reference Names
  • Reference Addresses
  • Reference Telephone Number
  • Reference Relationship to student

For Parent Plus Borrowers

To complete a Parent Plus Application the parent will need to use their FSA ID (not the student’s) and log into www.studentaid.gov. Then the parent will need to sign a MPN for the loan.
