Loans

All students receiving student loans will need to complete Entrance Counseling and sign a Master Promissory Note. These are both good for ten years once completed. This can be done at www.studentloans.gov.


The entrance counseling will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete, please complete the entire session to receive credit. 


The master promissory note takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. To complete the MPN you will need:

1. Personal Information

  • Permanent Address
  • Mailing Address (if different from permanent)
  • Telephone Number
  • Email Address

2. Employer Information

  • Employer Name
  • Employer Address

3. School Name

4. Reference Information

Two people you have known for at least three years. The first reference should be a parent or legal guardian.

  • Reference Relationship to student

For Parent Plus Borrowers

Parent plus borrowers must complete a MPN for the plus loan. They will sign in using their information and PIN, not the student's.
